Rock River Arms is an American firearm parts and accessories manufacturer, but most of all, a manufacturer of high-quality AR-15 carbines. The company was founded in 1996 by Larson brothers in cooperation with Les Baer and it is based in Colona, Illinois. Today, RRA produces high-quality AR-15 carbines at a reasonable price and in various versions. Since 2003, the company has been contracted to supply AR-15 carbines to anti-narcotic DEA agency, FBI or US Marshals.

The receiver, stock pad and pistol grip were made of nylon-fiber reinforced polymer. Remaining components such as the barrel, RIS handguard, flash hider, enlarged charging handle and tactical sling swivels were made of metal (parts made of steel include the screws, pins, shell ejection window, buffer tube rails and mock bolt carrier). The receiver bears markings and a serial number.

The replica’s parts are alignedvery well and the User will not experience any loose spots between the lower and the upper receiver. The use of a light polymer receiver allowed for a reduced weight, which makes it very suitable for dynamic games or long-lasting mil-sims. What’s more, the fiberglass reinforcement makes the receiver also more durable than polymer and metal receivers.
