The SA-J72 CORE™ Carbine Replica is a product of Specna Arms, a manufacturer that aims to meet the expectations of its customers with its unique CORE™ line of replicas. This line offers an innovative quick spring change system, great performance straight out of the box, and high-quality components at an affordable price, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced airsoft players.

The replica is made primarily out of durable polymer reinforced with nylon fiber, making it lightweight and comfortable to use. The pistol grip, receiver, handguard, gas tube cover, gas tube, and front sight post are made of polymer, while the most crucial elements such as the barrel mount, dummy bolt carrier, rear sight, barrel, and front sight are made out of zinc and aluminium alloy. The dust cover, safety, trigger guard, and stock are made out of steel.

The replica features a very good fit of the parts, ergonomics, and low weight. Additionally, it comes equipped with the ESA2™ quick spring change system, which allows for easy adjustment of the power of the replica without the need to disassemble it. The replica also has a metal hop-up chamber, a 6.03mm diameter precision barrel, and a muzzle device on a 24mm CW/14mm CCW thread. It also has a “dovetail” type side mounting rail and plenty of room for a stick battery under the dust cover, making it LiPo-ready.

The replica is compatible with most types of Cyma, JG, E&L, and Bolt magazines, although some minor modifications may be required for magazines from other brands. The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries and comes with a basic muzzle velocity of ~380 FPS and an additional M90 main spring that allows for reducing the initial muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS, making it suitable for both middle-range and short-distance operations.

The gearbox of the replica has 8mm slide bearings and steel gears fitted on them and is secured by means of four anti-reversal latches. The replica also includes a polycarbonate plastic piston fitted with a full steel tappet plate, increasing its durability. The set does not include a battery or charger.
