Some elements in Specna Arms CORE™ light machine guns were made of polymer in order to reduce their weight and make the gun handier. Polymer parts include the receiver, handguard, dust cover, front sight with a base, magazine, and the pistol grip.

Metal parts include remaining elements such as the external barrel, magazine well, stock, or the flash hider. Specna Arms light machine gun features several steel parts: a bipod, external barrel lock, stock support, trigger guard, transport handle as well as all pins and assembly elements.

The implemented in the machine gun replicas quick spring exchange system ESA™ enables a rapid and quick adjustment of the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the playing field without the need for access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The process of spring change lasts literally mere seconds – all that is required is to take out a single pin, pull away the stock latch and take out the spring guide along with the spring through the opening in the gearbox frame.

The replica is powered by a full-size, metal, and heavy-duty M249 gearbox that is characteristic for its high durability and good reliability at stock. The mechanism is prepared for further tuning and ready for stress connected to providing covering fire. Inside, there are the following components:

– M120 main spring
– 8 mm ball bearings
– ball bearing spring guide
– set of steel gears
– rotary, metal Hop-Up chamber

The set includes a polymer box magazine with a capacity of 2500 BBs that allows covering your enemy with a rain of rounds. BBs from the magazine is fed automatically thanks to an electric winding mechanism powered by 2 AA batteries (not included in the set).
