Level 2 Holster Retention

The L2S Holsters use multiple levels of retention to keep your firearm safe. The body of the holster uses passive and adjustable retention to firmly keep your pistol retained in the holster, the adjustable retention screws along the holster’s edge allow you to fine-tune the fit according to your preferences. The Holsters also feature a Level 2 locking hood system to add an additional level of security to the holster, the hood will not allow the pistol to be drawn from the holster without the user depressing and rotating the hood forward.

To adjust the amount of passive retention the holster has, you need to adjust the multiple points of adjustable retention. To make the holster require more or less force to draw the pistol from the holster simply tighten or loosen the two screws on the underside of the holster with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Once you have the holster set up, we advise using Threadlock or Loctite to ensure all screws won’t come loose over time.
