The KWA 2016 model ATP-LE, was designed with law enforcement training in mind. The lower polymer frame and aluminum alloy slide make the pistol light and cost-effective. The frame was designed to fit many duty holsters currently on the market.

The accessory rail provides the operator with a tactical advantage and three-dot sights allow for rapid target acquisition. The ATP-LE also features an interchangeable back strap that allows the shooter to customize the fit and feel to their personal needs.

The VCRA states that you can only purchase a Realistic Imitation Firearm if you have a defence that proves you are an active airsoft skirmisher. If you don't have a valid defence the weapon has to be painted more than 51% in a bright colour (two-toned).
