The A&K M249 series is a weel established platform in the market and has been on the scene for some time now. Having originally followed the pattern of the Classic Army M249 platform, it is far easier to now find the A&K variant over the Classic Army. You have a metal receiver and metal components where you would expect them, and polymer parts like hand guards and some stocks like the real counterpart. Upgraded reinforced gearbox that is built to withstand the punishment of sustained volume of fire that you need in a support weapon. The gearbox also has a quick spring change at the rear and utilises 8mm bearings and steel gears.

There is no other LMG platform that has had as much use in the field as the M249 and its variants. A 2500rd box magazine is included to keep you in the fight for as long as possible, and spares can be purchased, as well as the smaller 1500 box mags for a smaller profile. You need a dependable LMG?
